She specializes in space law, international security law, and international humanitarian law. Her doctoral research focuses on the legal challenges surrounding anti-satellite weapons, technology that sits at the intersection of space and modern warfare. Çabuk is also a research associate in the Planet Stewards Project at Utrecht University examining the sustainability of Earth-space systems.

Çabuk is promovenda publiek internationaal recht aan de Universiteit Utrecht, gespecialiseerd in ruimterecht, internationaal veiligheidsrecht en internationaal humanitair recht. Haar promotieonderzoek richt zich op de juridische uitdagingen rondom antisatellitwapens, technologie die zich bevindt op het snijvlak van ruimtevaart en moderne oorlogsvoering. Daarnaast is ze onderzoeksmedewerker bij het Planet Stewards Project, een door de ERC gefinancierd initiatief aan de Universiteit Utrecht dat de duurzaamheid van aard-ruimtesystemen onderzoekt.
