Dr. McHugh werkt als postdoctoraal onderzoeker bij professor Ingrid Robeyns’ Visions of the Future. Bij het project worden alternatieven voor het neoliberale kapitalisme onderzocht en vergeleken. De aspecten die onderzocht worden zijn degrowth en postgrowth, de zorg economie, eigendomsdemocratie, autoritair populisme en meer.
