What is time?
We experience time as a steady forward flow of moments. But in physics, it's a little bit more complicated than that. Time, as Einstein showed, is affected by gravity and motion. On a scale smaller than atoms, time may not exist at all. Theoretical physicist Prof. Renate Loll (RU) explains which questions about time science may be able to answer and why time may be key to understanding the universe.
