Privacy statement

Studium Generale UU takes the appropriate measures to protect your personal information. Your personal data will not be rented, sold or otherwise shared with or provided to third parties. We handle your personal data with care and act within the limits of the law, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Newsletter and brochure

If you sign up for our newsletter or brochure, we will store your personal data. To receive the newsletter we need a correct email address only. To receive the brochure we ask for your full name and physical address. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you may use the unsubscribe link in our newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive our brochure, please send an email to info@sg.uu.nl. Once you have unsubscribed, all of your personal data will be deleted.

Cookies

General visitor data are stored on our website, such as the most requested pages. The purpose of collecting these general visitor data is to optimise the website for you. All information collected through cookies is used for anonymous statistics analyses only.

We make agreements with data processors to ensure the confidential and careful handling of personal data. These agreements are contractually laid down in so-called ‘Data Processor Agreements’. Studium Generale has an agreement with Google (Analytics & YouTube). Your data will be processed anonymously, all data sharing settings are turned off, and we do not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies. We also have a processor agreement with Smart Connections (CRM platform). Furthermore, we use Sonic Foundry (Mediasite) and ISSUU (publications) services.

If you choose not to enable cookies, you’ll still be able to browse our website. You can turn them off and on whenever you please.
